Hotel was clean and the room was spacious. Had a microwave, fridge and sink in the room. AC worked well (it was 85+ degrees out). Internet was decent for a hotel's free connection. They provide a better speed option at about $5 per day which I did not use. The free version was good enough. Location is pretty good. About 30 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. Have stayed here before and I would go back.
Pool was freezing! It was the main reason why we choose this hotel and unfortunately we couldn’t use it! Room was okay, but there was a number of dead flies around the window blind (digusting) obviously not want you want with a baby.
Very nice with room to spread out. Put the hot tub back and include more drawer space and I would give it five stars.
Beware this is a smoking hotel even if they say smoke free. First time ever in 8+ years of business travel I had to check out early after trying 2 rooms which were just as smelly.
Pros:
The breakfast was very good. A reasonable range of hot foods as well as yogurts, pastries etc. Staff were very helpful, the microwave inside the room didn’t fit our steriliser for the baby bottles and they let us use the one with the downstairs kitchen area.
Cons:
Decent location. About 20 min from downtown Pittsburgh. Great service/welcomed by the front desk. Room was ready for early check in and all staff seemed genuinely generous. My only complaint was the room was missing soap and lotion.
