Great price. Nice and clean. Liked the updated paint color and bedding. Lite breakfast included. Cereal, toast, muffins danishes, milk, juice coffee, apples, and make your own waffle. New owners very quiet. Right off 79 and 60/Steubenville Pike. Close downtown Pittsburgh. About 8 miles. You can take Steubenville Pike over to West End bridge to get across the river to downtown. I used this to stay while my mom needed to go to Allegheny General Hospital.
The front desk worker was very nice, we selected a smoking room so it smelled like an ashtray as expected. The beds seemed pretty clean no complaints there, but the bathroom was in need of serious cleaning, the old shower curtain than hung in there reeked of mildew and there was dirt in the corners, you can tell they have been cutting corners. It was a place to stay for the night as a last second choice when everywhere else was sold out, the price was right for what we got.
