The process from start to finish was smooth and easy. From the moment I checked in at the National counter-to going to the underground parking lot and picking a car-I've never ever done that...I was set. The car was clean and beautiful.
Pittsburgh National does a great job. They always have a good selection in Emerald Aisle and the service is very friendly. Never an issue here.
My only issue is the following which is a quick fix. There was no ice scraper in the vehicle; not one that I could find. I was affected as there was a storm and my car was completely covered with snow. I got it handled. If the ice scraper was in car this review would have been absolutely perfect. Next time.
The experience was first rate. I arrived very late 11pm+. They only had Mini Vans left but the staff said that they would accommodate the gas on return so having a family van on a business trip didn’t bother me at all. Good work.
The pick up area was very confusing. I was not sure what area the available cars were located. Very dark. I finally found an attendant and she said to pick any vehicle as I am Emerald Club but I reserved an SUV and there was only one to choose from and as I was walking around the vehicle another customer was looking to take it as well but I was there first. I was kinda stumped as what would've happened if he got there first. Everything else was great. Clean vehicle, fast check out both at renting and returning. Now that I know the lay out of the area next time should go smoother.
Backup camera did not reset when car put in drive.
Only drove 26 miles and they still whacked me for a gas charge - Ridiculous!
Price is much too high for this location.
Guessing it won't be addressed.
Return guy said ... "Oh".
Staff did not seem very interested in my response on how car was.
