I'm only giving this one star to write the review because zero is not an option. Worst birthing hospital I have ever seen. Botched BOTH of my youngest sons' births. Almost killed one, and almost killed my fiancée on the other. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU DON'T WANT A DIFFICULT PREGNANCY AND BIRTH!!!
The hospital itself is beautiful...but I will not go back there if I can help it. I went to the hospital for two of my pregnancies. I always had a different doctor presented, a different opinion, and no sense of personal caring or concern. I started out with the midwife group and they were fantastic. However once I was determined to be high risk, I had to leave their care.
Not impressed with this place at all, my daughter ended up in OB ICU at 36 weeks pregnant because of their negligence, played in her bed for 4 days in constant pain, congestion, severe swelling in her legs,feet,and face while they passed it all off as " Normal" pregnancy issues, then finally decided to do an xray because of her constant crying and me and her fiance repeatedly telling them that was not " Normal ", what does the xray reveal....pneumonia....by then her heart rate was elevated and oxygen levels low, I would never recommend anybody to go to this so called wonderful hospital!!!
Worst place every the umpc cops think there bad ass over cigs and a lighter they r disrespectful and have been mistreating me since i got here im already suein this place so this makes it even better would never recommend this place to anyone and would never come here again or have anyone come here
Top level care! Our nurses especially were above and beyond with compassion, knowledge, overall partient care! The cleanliness and anti-germ procautions were top notch. We are lucky go have an amazing woman's hospital in Pittsburgh. They saved my life.
