Wow!!! Heard they had great pan pizzas but I actually like thehand tossed better. Sauce is sweet and delicious. Best calzone I've ever had. Crispy chicken salad was amazing. I didn't think ranch could amaze me but there ranch did! Marinara is phenomenal! Service is great! Keep it up Pelegrino's. You are my new favorite place
Terrible!!!! but used to be great. Waited 10+ minutes after arriving to pickup a take out online order. The dining area had flies flying around and did not look like a place to dine in. A little rough. Then finally received order and when i got to my destination and opened it , not good, the small pizza was burnt, wings gummy and undercooked and black substance on hoagie bun. I called and asked for refund and was denied. Thats a shame as I understand mistakes happen but not good business to treat a former repeat customer. I tossed the order in the trash. The prices were rather higher than the competitors around the area. An overall bad experience.
This place is phenomenal, and we totally found it by chance! We are in Pittsburgh for a family member that is in the hospital and had to stop at the Target, which is across the street. We were hungry and spotted this little pizza place, and we are so glad we did! They don't have pizza by the slice, unfortunately, but it's worth getting a pie. They're not unreasonably expensive. We had the pepperoni rolls (8 large ones) and the hand-tossed Pelegrino Specialty pizza. They have yummy sauce and dough! Highly recommended!
Superb! The owner really does care about the quality and atmosphere of his pizza joint. Two of us decided to Dine-in there. Typically they are more of a delivery or pickup place, but we figured we would sit down and eat. He was pretty busy with many deliveries and he was working hard in the back. However, he went out of his way to ask us how the food was and to just strike up a casual conversation. The pizza is absolutely fantastic and the calzone....just wow. Keep up the great work. Hard work pays off!
