America's favorite break up store. For when you have to furnish an apartment right away. People put this stuff down, but it is sturdy, attractive and lasts as long as you need it to. Flat pack is practical. You can take your purchase home right away. Proportions are human. I come here for the best prices on batteries and light bulbs. I've eaten here a few times and it was great.
As far as the quality of the furniture goes, don't expect much, I bought a desk from them, and by year 5 of normal use it was basically trash. They use particle board and cut corners to cut the cost of the furniture.
This IKEA location is good, I'm just taking off the one star because of IKEA as a company. I mean they were caught using horse meat in their meatballs, that's pretty creepy, makes you wonder what other corners they cut.
It's weird that the place you look at the furniture and the place you pick up the furniture are not even in the same building.
Love looking at all the room ideas!! Love they have measuring tapes, paper and pencil for you to write down your big items you want t to get! I bought a black brown shelf, that can be used upright or down so where you can use these cubical drawers! I love it! Went together really fast! It's particle board but finished nice!!! For $65 I'm extremely happy
Not just furniture, though the As-Is section has some great deals. IKEA has a great cafe and "market" section with Swedish and Nordic foods. They even have imported bulk candy- Swedish Fish that are actually from Sweden! Take Swedish meatballs and lingonberry drink home with you.
If you're trying to fill a college dorm room then IKEA is the place to go, but if you have a good paying job, you can do better than IKEA.
I enjoyed the shopping experience. Interesting merchandise tastefully displayed at affordable prices. Checkout was another experience. We had a large number of small items such as pillows and kitchen accessories. We had carried them around inthe "yellow "bags. We asked to use the bag to get the items to our car as we would be loading furniture just 10 feet from the door. The clerk (s) just kept repeating "the yellow bags can't leave the store". Only after a 3rd clerk intervened did they offer a grocery cart for the 10 foot trip. BAD PUBLIC RELATIONS! ! !
Also it's weird they are a "non-profit organization" to avoid paying taxes.
