I and four friends recently visited this museum, and everyone loved it. The tour was a bit over 2 hours and the very congenial host told many interesting stories about the house and it's builder. He also got everyone involved by asking them questions and what they thought about certain aspects of the museum. And it is definitely a bargain at only $10. We plan to visit again.
Wonderful tour with great guides. Have taken the tour twice myself. Every person I've taken has loved it. I would love to say more but saying too much spoils the tour.
I've been here twice and would gladly return any day. There's nothing else like this experience, from the musical instruments, the whimsy of the mansion and the knowledgeable guide. This is an essential stop if you're visiting the city, or if you're looking to try something outside the typical run-of-the-mill museum experience.
Very interesting collection in an amazing house....the tour guide was a bit eccentric.
