I went to Russ's Auto for an inspection. The group just remodeled their waiting/office area and it made a big difference! I waited there for my car to be done -- while Scott worked diligently and promptly on my car, I had the chance to talk with the owner. He was extremely knowledgeable and had the customer in his mind first and foremost. The pair passed my car and gave me what I would call "gentle" advice -- meaning they suggested some maintenance I could address with my car to keep it running smoothly but was far from pushy in anyway! I really appreciate that; give me the knowledge but let me choose. I also appreciated them trying to explain some things to me and not taking advantage of the fact that I don't know much!! I trust them and recommended my boyfriend go for an inspection as well. I used reviews to pick Russ's Auto so I want to pass on the favor to others!
Russ Auto is fantastic.The staff actually cares and does their best to get your vehicle back promptly. They stand by their warranty and go the extra distance for customer service and satisfaction. Highly recommend them for any car need. So happy to have found a trustworthy and reliable mechanic shop.
We decided to try them out three years ago because it was a short walk from our apartment, and completely switched over from our old mechanic. Service has always been fast and affordable, but the most valuable benefit is their honesty and advice. We've never felt like they were doing more work than was necessary to make money, and they will always explain the work that's being done and why they're doing it. They'll give their thoughts on maintenance work but I've never felt pressured. And the renovated office looks great! Very nice people.
Came from out of town for a visit. Car started making braking noise going down some of these steep Pittsburgh hills. Took it to Russ's auto, and they did a good job of checking things out. They seem quite concerned with the care of your car, and leave you with a good feeling about the service you get there.
