Excellent assortment of goodies. Red velvet cupcakes!! Can't wait to try one of the small layer cakes...perfect for a romantic birthday dinner??
Was good treats but I will NEVER return. After ordering 2 Canollis, a 7 layer, tiramisu, and a few other things. The little girl (maybe 16 at best) removed all the stuff from the bakery cooler with her bare hands. She had just got done with another customer and handled money at the register. GROSS. And then when I confronted her about wearing gloves to handle food she said "oh that's just an option, I don't have to". I said yes you do, it's a health code violation. She said "the gloves make my hands sweaty and I wash them anyway". I said you didn't wash them, you came straight from handling money over to "fondle" our order. After that she was flustered with our order, I assume because she knew she had been caught doing something that she knew she wasn't supposed to be doing. Because of that she ended up under charging us almost $10 worth of product that we will throw away anyway because her filthy fingers were all over it. So not only do they have a gross cashier but a dumb one at that.
Everything is amazing. My favorite is their bread pudding.
Yummy!!! These pastries were so light and fluffy and amazing. We stopped here to grab some food on our way to Hollywood and although they weren't super filling they were amazingly tasty! I had the raspberry danish and then we split something cinnamon-y. Overall would go back for a sweet taste of something. The place is tiny and there is not anywhere to sit inside. The prices weren't too bad I think it totaled about $2 per item.
Me and my partner stumbled on this rare treat by fluke, just exploring around the top of the incline and we needed a snack to give us energy after walking from downtown to Heinz field then walked to the incline... we loved the Canoli' and doughnut so we came back a couple of days later before we left to go back home. Hope you're still there when I come back to 'the burgh' for my honeymoon in 2019. (My partner doesn't know yet) ;)
