Went here this past weekend for breakfast and it was very good. The service was quick even with just one waitress and the food was good. The price was reasonable for the size of the dishes. If you want to save yourself from a massive sugar rush, stay away from the fresh toast with the strawberry sauce and goat cheese (not to mention it was just a weird combination in my opinion). Just go with the classic french toast and have the toppings on the side as you want them. Also, if you order OJ ask for ice in it if you like your OJ cold.
French Toast & Turkish Sausage - my mouth is watering thinking about it! Very, very good. Staff is awesome. As advertised, place is small-ish and we waited. About 20-30 min later, was it worth it? Absolutely. You will find a menu with some interesting, different dishes which for breakfast/brunch is so welcome! The coffee selection is thin - a house roast that is fine for a medium-light body cup. But no espresso-based Joe as far as I could see. Atmosphere is great - varied rustic enclaves. Would definitely go back.
Small, yummy menu. Friendly, attentive service. Cozy atmosphere (all but 2-3 tables are 2-tops), perfect for catching up on quality time with a loved one.
This is one of my favourite places for breakfast in Pittsburgh, I visit it several times a month. It's a wonderful place to sit and have a nice relaxed breakfast with a friend or two. Seating is limited, however, and it's a small place, so I would not recommend going with a group of more than five or six, tops. The atmosphere is cozy and cute. Service is always quick for me since I visit during weekdays, although I believe there is usually a small wait on the weekends. The menu is mostly crepes, with some french toast. Every item I have tried has been absolutely excellent, whether sweet or savory. They also offer a variety of delicious coffee drinks, which are consistently good, rather than being hit or miss like some places are with coffee. Overall, it's a fun place with a great menu and reasonable prices.
If I could do so, I would give this 4.5 stars. However, I cannot. So, I will give this a very positive 4 stars. This is a great place to enjoy a wonderful taste of something different at an affordable price. The staff were attentive, and the food was fantastic. My only small concern was that there was a limited range of crepes from which to select something to eat. All in all, a very good experience.
