As a newer transplant to the area, Sunnyhill and it's members have been really sweet about plugging us into the community here through various events and volunteer opportunities.
Most welcoming and loving community I have yet to find in all my escapades.
The minister at this church is very dull - his message is weak and the congregation are wealthy do-gooders who come across as hypocrites at best, and control-freak bullies, at worst. The South Hills has plenty of good churches, doing good work in the local community and this church is just a tax-exempt burden on our local community resources.
Friendly place to get to know your neighbors. The music is beautiful and the messages are empowering while providing space for understanding via personal spiritual beliefs.
The new building is lovely. It has a nice nursery where my daughter has enjoyed playing during the service.
This is a thinking-person's church. The members are welcoming and kind. The minister speaks right into your heart. Warm community of fellow searchers.
