We had a great time here, very modern and fun facility. The guy behind the counter was fantastic, very good customer service with a smile. Lots of fun electronic scoreboard options, quick ball return, good snack bar.
Very pleasant bowling alley. All gadgetry available. Good place for kids and families.
Full disclosure: I am about two months behind in finally posting this review… it’s just that time of the year. That being said, it’s a shame it has taken me this long because our experience at AMF was beyond fantastic. John Pitcavage and his team did an outstanding job hosting us, on incredibly short notice, and we can not say enough about the job they did. So, a little context: another local establishment had informed us, the night prior, that they would not be able to honor the reservation we had made for our daughters’ birthday party. Awesome, right? So we called up AMF Lanes literally at 10:00 on Friday evening to see if they could accommodate twenty or so 2-5 year old’s the next afternoon. The person that we spoke to was very sympathetic and said that while they could reserve four lanes for us, they wouldn’t be able to provide any of the “party event” on such short notice. Completely understandable. We were just happy to have a place to go that was not called the living room. But when we arrived the next morning, not only were the lanes available as promised, but John and his team were amazingly attentive and patient (3-year-olds don’t want to wear shoes as it is, but bowling shoes?) with our group. Not only did they set us up with lanes as promised, but they also did whip up a party room and provided enough pizza and drinks for the whole group. And this was all with two other (I’m sure properly scheduled) parties going on. John’s team bailed us out big time – they could have just accommodated us; done the bare minimum that they promised. But they went above and beyond, and we appreciated all of their efforts. Well done. We will definitely be back (*have been back, like I said, it has taken me forever to post this).
Bowling with a group of people is fun. But, making the waitress be the
bartender too! Not a good move. Really should have both. That's how it was until this week.
Excellent family owned business. 1000 percent recommended. Fills all your bowling needs. I give it 10 thumbs up. Great Pro Shop. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it 100.
