I visited today and the bartender was extremely nice and helpful. I also met the manager, Chuck, and he was also very friendly and shared with me that there is a new location in the Gallaria near south hills mall! So I am excited to try that one out since it’s closer to me and should be even better since it’s newer!
The food is absolutely fantastic. The beer selection is quite large for being more of a restaurant. Their big ticket food is their grilled cheeses. All sound wonderful when you see them. I however, had one that was Mac n cheese with bacon chunks. Wonderful. Atmosphere was really laid back, and even for being very busy, the noise level wasn't very loud (later noticed sound panels along the ceiling) which was meditating. I highly recommend this wonderful little spot.
Having had reservations, our table was well prepared and staff was ready to take immediate drink and appetizer orders. Restaurant is best known for their gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. For spicy lovers, I highly recommend there Buffalo styled grilled cheese (same Buffalo is used in a chip appetizer). I had the crabby patty and it was delectable. Their homemade (old Bay/Cajun/parmesan) chips pair beautifully with the sandwiches. Also came with creamy tomato soup, was perfect to dip both the sandwich and chips into. No doubt we'll return.
Fantastic food and service! On top of the great food and service, I left my credit card on the table by mistake. I called back later and they had it stored safely for me to pick up with proof of ID. They really know how to run a business!
The food was wonderful, the selection was unreal, the feel inside the place was very inviting and had a perfect balance of family feel mixed with sports bar.
My daughter and I ordered pancakes and bacon. Pancakes were dry and not fluffy or very good. We were only given a very small amount of syrup. The syrup did not taste very good. I prefer REAL maple syrup which their syrup was not! Most people would pay more for real syrup! The other people in our party had no complaints. Bacon was good and cooked well. Pancakes are not their specialty!
