On to a positively delicious brunch. Perfectly prepared pork belly catapulted a basic breakfast right over the top! Two beautiful slices of porky goodness nestled next to picture perfect, over-easy fried eggs and a pile of homefries that tastes like you WISH your momma made them.
Very nice bar and restaurant. A smallish menu, but lots of really tasty and interesting choices in a neighborhood I did not expect to visit. And I am glad I did visit!
Overpriced, strange hipster food. Spinach all over my soup (main course) and a pile on my friend's codfish. Charged us $5 for small plate of cut carrots and celery to dip. Yikes!
Good food, cool layout. You could have an intimate date here, a group night out, just a drink or game night pretty easily.
Scratch hit the good stuff out of the park at brunch the other day! Let's start with a stellar Scratch-made bloody Mary, why not...my dining companion and I did! One of the best in Pittsburgh, for sure.
A cool trendy place up on Troy Hill. I dont recommend a walk but it's worth an Uber ride. Lamb sausage and eggs were delicious and you can get have an Allure(I think thats what its called) for breakfasts too.
A sweet selection of finely curated bottles line the backbar, so indulge. You'll find something special back there to end your meal with aplomb. A bit of Cardamaro made for a very fine end to our very fine meal. I can't wait to go back for dinner. Soon!
