Awesome to be able to tour a largely intact estate from a bygone era. A treasure that should be on everyone's "must see" list. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the terrace cafe prior to a docent-led tour. Reservations for both are highly recommended. Wonderfully unique books can be found in the gift shop for avid readers. I enjoy introducing visiting friends and family members to Pittsburgh's rich history via the Frick Art and History Center. Always a most pleasant experience.
Beautiful exhibits. The cafe is one of my favorite places to eat. Have been to the Frick 3 Times this year. Never disappointed.
Wonderful experience...wish you could see more of the house on the tour...staff is very knowledgeable and friendly!
Beautiful setting, originally a private estate, now open to the public. The art museum is free, other than any special exhibition. The grounds, conservatory and carriage museum are also free and are well kept. There is a small charge to tour the Frick Mansion. Well worth the price, especially if you tour the rest of the property. There is a cafe and a gift shop on site. Parking is also free and they are open year round.
Really unusual cars at the museum. Well worth a visit. Kind of a history of very early cars from carriages to lincolns.
