One of the best airports I've ever gone through with no hassle on arrival or departure. TSA was quick enough, seemingly. The layout of the airport in terms of getting to terminals and shops/food is easy as possible. As a foodie though, I have to applause the many different food options available here as well. Restrooms are pretty okay as well.
I just breezed through this airport. Seems pretty nice and clean. Lots of sitting options, restaurants, restrooms. Claiming the baggage was easy. I also saw lots of winter and holiday decorations, huge skeleton of T-Rex and Steelers fotbal player, all good spots to take memorable pictures. The "X" shape of the airport makes it so convenient.
I had left my nice new ski coat in the room behind. I did not realize I had left it until I was in the Atlanta Airport. The jacket was not found, but the front desk manager was able to credit me back the value of my coat. They were very helpful in getting this taken care of. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area!
All restaurants close at 8PM other then McDonald's. It was 8PM my flight was delayed to 11:15 PM, and i thought id grab a good meal and catch the Monday night football game at one of the restaurants that offer a bar. Pretty much everything closed down at 8PM. So much money being lost, people are still flying till about midnight and cutting them off is just odd.
About as easy of an airport to navigate as it gets. Good food options after you finish security and usually not too bad of a wait to get past security as well. Flights are not always the best so expect a layover depending on where you want to go, but for airports it's about as good as it gets. One of my favorites to fly in and out of.
